Emmaus Bible Church
17 Church Street
South Carver, MA 02366
Royal C. Randall, Pastor
When we began, Emmaus Bible Church was comprised of a small number of believers who met in the living room of our residence in 2002. We believed then, as we still do, that the Lord had instructed us to not only be recipients of His saving grace in our lives, but also to be ‘light’ in a dark world.
In order to fulfill this mandate we continued to seek the generous guidance of God’s gracious Holy Spirit to grow, not only in maturity, but in number as well. Through His providence we found ourselves in a position to acquire the property we presently meet in at 17-19 Church St., South Carver, MA. We have been truly blessed to be in this historic location for these last ten years.
I wish that I could tell you that we have every answer to every problem you will ever encounter, but that would not be the truth. Yet, while we make no claim to have every answer, we can say with certainty, that we have something to share.
One thing we all may agree on is this; Life continues to come at each and every one of us with an increasing intensity. It is difficult at best, some days, to keep our head and hearts above the water line. Our human capacity has a load limit. Our finances are being stretched to the limit. God knows this and has given us all a way that we can live, shape, and guard our lives so that despair and frustration do not have to be the only alternatives for us to choose.
To learn how to meet these needs we set aside worship and study times during the week. We meet on the first day of the week for instruction from God’s Word at Sunday School and morning worship service. We also have a scheduled time on Wednesday evening for Bible study and prayer. In those meetings both young and old alike can learn biblical principles for victorious Christian living; not just for Sunday and Wednesday, but for every day of our lives.
I invite you to join us at one of these services to see if our church is someplace that could assist you in having your spiritual needs met.
God’s desire is for each of us to come to know Him in a personal and saving way. “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:17)
We would love an opportunity to meet you. Please come and visit with us and share in the blessing, direction, and joy we have found in our walk with Christ.
