We do not claim to know 'all things' in our church, but we have found something out that is worth sharing with you.
Everyone needs daily wisdom, guidance, and encouragement to meet life's increasing demands. Our own human capacity is limited. In order to meet these needs, we have found it important to set aside certain times each week to worship God and learn from His Holy Word. To this end, we have Sunday school, worship service, Bible study, and prayer times scheduled throughout each week. In those times, both young and old can learn Biblical principles for victorious Christian living; not just for Sunday, but for every day of our lives.
We would like to take a moment to extend an invitation to you to visit with us some Sunday and see if our church is someplace that would meet your and your family's spiritual needs. There is an open invitation in God's Word which has already been sent to you. "Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near." (Isaiah 55:6) Jesus Himself invites you, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
Has there been a time in your life when you wanted to have a relationship with God, but didn't think that it was possible? The Bible tells us that God's desire is for each of us to come to know Him a personal way. "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:17)
We believe that God knows our strengths and weaknesses, our capabilities, gifts, and talents. He knows the hidden things within us that no other person, no matter how close, may know. And with all of that, God loves us anyway. He who is pure and holy, who has no blemish or flaw, wants us to turn to Him and receive forgiveness for our sins.
To that end, Jesus Christ, God's perfect Son, died in our place and rose from the grave. He did this for us because we could not do it for ourselves. There is not one of us able to establish our own righteousness before Him. "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one." (Romans 3:10)
The truth that we want to share with you is this: This new life in Jesus Christ is available to all who would ask. "As many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)
We would love an opportunity to meet you and do what we can to be your friend in the community. We welcome you to come visit; share in the joy and blessing that we have found in our walk with Christ.
